Public Agenda

The Baldiones the Janas were founded in 1435 in conjoined agreement by Mariano II and Myrtha. The order institution has been the first public act of Mariano II as a Juighissa. It was born as a chivalric order, with the primary agenda to protect the Janas and the humans from each other during the first difficult years of open coabitation. The first Cruxi Manna of the Order was Mariano's son Lughente, born from his marriage with the jana Anthea. In modern times, the Baldiones agenda shifted slightly from a protection order towards a sort of police and investigative corps for interspecies and ecological crimes.

Assets

In the current times the order owns the Order palace in Arborea and motorbikes and horses that are still their favourite vehicle for the back and forth travelling in the woods of Onfalu. They are financed directly by the Juigadu, even if someone whispers of secret stashes of gold in the palace cellars fruit of the many favours done to the Janas during the centuries. It is true that many of the Baldiones are of noble descendance, often fadados linked with the Juighissas cadet houses and with important Janas circles, so they often don't even receive the statal wage that it's due to them and are satisfied by serving the cause pro bono.
