Personal history

In the year -17, the twin brothers Sigmund and Sigmar were born to the unwedded and virgin Queen of the north: Sabella. Sabella would die in childbirth, leaving the two newborn sons as heirs to the tribe. From a young age, Sigmund and Sigmar were seemingly gifted, both walking at 6 months, and talking by 14 months. They would be playful rivals, playing and fighting, both leading around groups of children as their ‘armies’ and doing battle. Once they had come of age, a decision was made to make Sigmund the chief, as he embodied the leadership skills better than his brother. This infuriated Sigmar. Sigmund would give Sigmar control of the clan's warriors, as a show of kindness. The rivalry would change over the years until Sigmar executed a coup. With the clan's warriors being loyal to Sigmar, Sigmund was forced to flee, taking 6 longboats south with those still loyal to him.
