Session 4: Hot Dam? Report

General Summary

Day 75/291 When last we l Day 76/291 When last we left our heroes, Miri the Human fighter, Nicholas the Elven Wizard, Meela the Elven druid, and the Erathis followers, Franklin the Dwarven paladin, and Ohron the Dwarven cleric, had reached the damn dam blocking the river, finding five frogfolk guarding four barrow guards and Melina. After some quick magic and a brawling battle with an Ogre, Meela and Miri have a vigorous conversation about trust and Meela starting the fight after long deliberations. Melina ordered her guards to take down the dam they've been building and accompanies the party to aurora's tree. The party decides a good night's rest and a bit of stealthy reconnaissance is better for the coming siege. Franklin and Ohron smoke some wacky weed causing dreams and wild magic, deaging a party member and not seeing a few others for a bit. Franklin and Ohron both felt a feeling of home in their visions, greeting Silver dragons and exploding mountains under a red eyed moon. Meanwhile Miri and Meela left early morning to scout ahead and bring back a possible head count at aurora's tree. What they find is 3 platforms in the trunk of the dying tree and no aurora to be heard. Will the party succeed in helping Melina recover her family sword? Only one way to find out.
