"How long have you led this faction?" The empress asked Miasma. Miasma led Imare along casually so that she could take in her surroundings and get at least partially familiar with the place. She had a feeling that she and the Empress would get very close. Miasma couldn't help but feel a sense of pride showing the Empress her den and her family - they were top-notch people who served the country with honor. Hopefully, her ladyship was impressed and continued to utilize her roses - who would happily die for the crown.
When Imare asked of Miasma's tenure as mistress there was a slight pause. She supposed the Empress wanted to know at least a bit about her, as leader of such an important clan. "About twenty-five years," Miasma answered, "I became the mistress when I turned eighteen, but I've been in the rose den since I was a child. I was born here..."

Personal history

Born to members of rival factions, Gail was born in the Den of Roses in Aereth city. When she was eight years old, her mother left the den and returned to her own faction, Manus Lux or Hands Of Light, across the ocean on the continent of Grathan. Hurt as well as worried about having their location given to the leaders of Manus Lux, Gail's father, a high ranking assassin in The Roses, pursued her mother...and killed her when he found her. Telling Gail when he returned that loyalty to the Roses was more important to him than anyone. Even the love of his life.
Because of his loyalty to the faction, Gail grew up near her father, but they were never really close, as he was mostly out...hunting. As a result, Gail was raised in the den with a myriad of people with different skills. A bright child, Gail learned to pick locks in no time. Soon, she was skilled with a bow. And, with time, she learned the art of perfect stealth.

Gail has no formal education. However, she was fully educated by scholars in the Den Of Roses.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Years after her father's death, Gail would ascend to the highest rank of the faction, Mistress Of The Roses.
