Kagome, the Chained Hand, Goddess of the Shackled
A slender figure, Kagome is depicted as a kneeling, chained down Illithid on a platform carried by her worshipers. The chains are tightly wrapped around her, and her flesh is scarred and wounded, bleeding near her left and right hand. It is said that without the support of her worshipers she could not spread her healing blood to the sick and injured. Her symbol, which is an open hand with chains wrapped around it, is often found in refugee camps or hidden by slaves from their masters. There are rumors that Kagome considers vampirism as a gift, and that her priests and priestesses are vampires.Rituals
Rituals performed by Kagome followers involve the usage or consumption of blood. It is said that Kagome views the offering of her followers' blood as a sign of their gratitude for her guidance and her own blood. Priests and Priestesses commune with Kagome through blood. A bleeding shrine is a holy sign, as that is when Kagome wishes to communicate with the Priests and/or Priestesses. They will add their blood to the shrine, then use a blessed chalice to drink the blood. Each individual has different sensory and visual visions.Divine
