The Old Mill
The Old Mill stands on the edge of Emberwood Village. In days past, before the meteor and the blighting of the land, farmers brought their grain here to be ground into flour. The massive, heavy millstone was turned by a water wheel. When the land stopped being fertile, the miller and his family moved away, and the mill fell into disrepair.
Things have changed recently. Small shapes can be seen moving about at night, voices can be heard within, and the mill turns once more. Villagers whisper it must be haunted, and the few remaining children in the village dare each other to peer inside.
