Garmyr

The Haze has mutated many creatures and people who once lived in the city. In the case of the city's dogs, they have become the garmyr. These creatures are not very intelligent, but they have a social structure and hunt in packs. Not all the dogs turned into garmyr, others have become massive, mutated hounds that accompany the garmyr on their hunts. They prefer the security of numbers, but will sometimes stalk and harry their prey until they are weakened enough to take down.
While garmyr hunting parties can be encountered throughout the city, they are most concentrated in the area of the Temple Gate. This is their territory from which they strike out in search of prey.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Individual packs of garmyr are led by the biggest and the strongest member of the group. The packs sometimes clash with each other, usually with the bigger pack establishing dominance. All of the garmyr show deference to one individual. Known as the Lord of the Hunt, this massive specimen is easily twice the size of a normal garmyr.
