Tammersin Tower Collapse

The collapse/failure of the Tammersin Towers is identified as a natural disaster based on the manipulations of the natural forces that caused it. Had the hedge wizard not tampered with time and the balance of the natural powers, the ward would have never existed. Without a functioning ward, the failure would not have disrupted the balance of the Ebb in the region and triggered the destruction of the temple. The presumed hedge mage that developed the expanded rune for the towers later uses temporal magic to travel to and learn of the future of Alyeria. He discovers a piece of the elemental font that has fallen to the planet after its destruction. Destruction in fact, brought upon the world by his callous use of magic and the destruction of the earth temple. As he worked to increase the effectiveness of the towers he travels into the future and returns with a font fragment. Using its power he augments the towers, but the fragment is unstable and eventually causes a cascade failure of all 5 towers. The resulting disruption in the ebb and explosion devastate the temple and its inhabitants. He is killed in the explosion. Cindrus is furious and shatters the font, sending fragments to Alyeria, ensuring the destruction of the towers and the temple.
Most of the stones were crafted/constructed locally. However, when the wizard determined that his designs would never power a ward of its size he searched for answers elsewere. This is were his accidental discovery of an ancient temporal slip spell sealed the fate of the Tammersin and untilmately the world.
Tolin, the Earth Prime moves about the material plane in various animal forms with his clay masks. Helps promising alyerians. quells evil and searches for the fragments of the font.
