Monstrous Layer

The monsters that lurk beneath the surface bring unsettling feelings of terror and fear to all of RUIN. These creatures are organized powerful and cannot be reasoned with and if there were not being equally as powerful to challenge them then they could have easily taken RUIN for themselves years ago. These beasts of night act as gatekeepers preventing any travel to the mysterious Green and Grey Layer with their legions of hunters and scouts that prowl in the darkness for any stranger who unfortunately finds themselves lost. Factions are always hiring for able bodied people to kill monsters that are pushing uncomfortably close to their area, making monster hunting a profitable business venture for those capable.
