The alchemists of the Medical District are always searching for the one of a kind panacea to sell at top of the line prices and be set for line. At one point they had thought they made it; a dark blue powder when ingested can cure any disease or heal any injury, but there was a side effect. It created a high so strong that it warranted an overwhelming addiction to the substance after the first use and those who couldn't get it more often than not died from withdrawal and those who could suffer a much worse fate. The secret of these victims has been locked away in the Quarantine Ward of the Medical District where it is guarded from entry. This drug still somehow manages to circulate throughout RUIN despite its side effects because when you manage to make the most addictive substance on RUIN there will always be somebody out there who can sell it.
