Rosewater

Up until over one thousand years ago, we believed we were alone, surrounded only by what we could see in front of us. Our peoples had been separated by years of blood and turmoil, our gods against theirs. That is until the Bind came.

Looking over our world, and us into theirs, it seemed as if our great wars of years past meant nothing. Our hatred for our enemies seemingly turned into a bond required for survival as great beasts and demons appeared overnight. Beings once rumor and tale turned into fact and fear.

Then it seemed, our fear turned into power. We learned sorceries, how to hold fire and steel together at once, and how to feed our families. The time of barbarism had turned into a millennia of survival, refining us into something greater than before. Every Moon we prepare our homes and our lives, refining ourselves evermore.

Modeled loosely after the D&D of the Forgotten Realms, Rosewater takes place on the newfound perilous occult western style continent of Eruza and the old mainland of the arcanistic Ghalea, with the rest of the world yet to be fully explored and seen. Beyond those are the numerous other Realms, occult realities where the laws of ours do not match. Made for my D&D 5e group and used as a creative outlet.
