Geography
Listing all the khumss in order of largest to smallest, the largest khum is Khuvili. Khuvili is diverse, misty, and predominantly jungle covered. Like most of the continent, Khuvili feels eerily silent and desolate despite the constant barrage of noise from the wildlife. Adventurers often feel watched, occasionally hearing a low flute uncannily playing, barely recognizable to their ears.
Mhvaergy, to the northwest of Khuvili, is covered in multiple layers of mists, fogs, and clouds. The lowermost layer of fog changes from a thick grey veil on the ground to a more forgiving light mist depending on seasons and wind patterns. The rain of the fog brings unknown ailments and a feeling of malaise. Symptoms of the rain are generally unknown.
Grymshrovaer is another misted and grim land. Entirely forested save for the abundant lakes and mountains, Grymshrovaer is constantly overcast with various black-leaved trees covering the ground. Its ground is said to be of black dirt, fertilized in the old blood of an elder people. The ambiance is enough to prevent explorers from entering, but it is known that the land is full of ruins and deep secrets. Those who have entered often do not return, but those that do often stammer about sounds that could only originate from the devil himself.
Ae Emrehc Bryturiv or Bryturiv is a disconnected tropical cerrado/savanna-like land of rolling hills and dry forest. In the lesser parts of the rain shadow of the great mountains, it still receives a wet season carried over by monsoon winds from Khuvili. A cradle of life, many unique races and animals can be found within Bryturiv, being inhabited and explored. Most of Bryturiv is home to the never-ending forest and the largest mountain on Khejezeoty and nature has been mostly left alone to her own accords.
Trzaerde ae Vault, or Trzealdre lives up to its moniker of 'The Dunes of Lost Gods', Trzealdre is a windy, and cold desert. It's named for its pastel red dunes and pinkish sky, believed to be painted in the blood of ancient celestials. It straddles the west of great mountains on both sides of the bay, forever living in its greater rain shadow. Small oasis towns can be found around the desert alongside ancient treasures and ruins, but many get lost attempting to find them.
Shaerme is the jewel of Khejezeoty. Located on a great lake near the south coast between Khuvili and the great mountains, the island paranormally has a perfect Mediterranean climate, home to vast fields of the crop, sprawling adobe towns, and astonishing natural beauty. The island is the most populated in Khejezeoty, but just as every other domain of the continent, Shaerme shares its secrets and troubles.
Many major rivers and lakes can be found on each khum.
*In the Beumaer language, an unique word exists which represents the Baumer version of a biome. Biomes work and form differently, often done so by both paranormal and normal forces in a significant manner where it coins it's own word.
† In Beumaer, the people organize the disjointed landmasses into continents based off of continental shelves, and another unique word was coined which could not be translated into English.
