Riven, the Torn Lands

Riven, the Torn Lands is a world un-like others. A massive broken moon rains down destruction as wild storms batter the surface. It is a world of glass deserts, churning oceans, deadly forests, and seas of tall grass. Countries of vastly different people war against each other for reasons not fully understood. Ancient technology is revered and treated as magic but any person showing any magical abilities is shunned or killed.   Yet, the Torn Lands is also home to unique locations and cultures. There are tranquil mountain valleys, rolling green hills, collections of singing flowers, and great spiraling glass towers. There are people that tattoo their heroic exploits upon their skin. There are others that use weapons and clothing influenced by the wind. And there are others that ride great beasts across fields of razor-sharp grasses.   The world of Riven is a place yearning for adventurers to explore it's secrets. It is a story waiting to be told.
