Rising Tide
September 12, 1928
An alternate universe version of 1928 Seattle during Prohibition. A scrappy group of ne'er-do-wells - The Black Tie Bandits - take up the dangerous but potentially lucrative occupation of bootlegging. They have a boat, a base, a route, a supplier and a buyer. We know they're gay enough but are they savvy enough? Can they navigate the minefield politics, police, competition and "friends" to make it big?
"Roy Olmstead, the so-called 'good bootlegger' and ex-cop, runs 90% of the city's illegal alcohol business and has bribed almost every police officer and city official to support his operation. The remaining scraps of booze trafficking, still worth a small fortune, are fought over by independent operators."
- from the Bootlegger's RPG system:
The Forenzas - a professional and deadly gang of lesbians - has branched out from their protection racket and started making big strides in capturing a large share of the liquor trade, aggressively quashing or absorbing the operations that seek to compete with them.
