PART 1: About the beginning of THE WORLD...

(Names are obviously placeholders)     There are many stories out there about how the world started. The people of the Ladrastra tribe tell about celestial beings arguing about the creation of a new world. For what seemed eons these celestial beings voted back and forth, convincing each other about why would their world be more interesting than the other. Examples and designs were proposed, exposed and argued, examples about exploded and dry lands, in which only flying creatures would live. Other gods thought of giant and massive worlds to be created only to soon be destroyed. Ultimately upon a final vote, it was decided that the world of Talliser should be a globe surrounded by their own power applied both continuously and whole, and in practice, in the shape of a ring
And so, after much deliberation Talliser was born.
What is interesting in the Ladrastra tale, is that these people believe that the rings that surround the planet, was placed there not as a coincidence, but deliberately by the gods as a reminder of their power, which like the rings, is both infinite and everywhere. And this is why: Because for them, Kadra, the source of our magic, is nothing short of a divine gift.
The great creationist story of the Ladrastra is obviously that, a story, which no matter how fascinating, does not have the empirical proof that our order and especially our scientist require. What the texts of the Official Society of the Magical and Empirical Arts teach us today, is that Talliser, our world, was created by the forces of the Kadra itself, which brought all of the mass of Talliser together, and while technically the Kadra crated the world, ironically there is very little to be found the surface, instead it has been deposited in Alipsos, the inner most ring that surrounds our world. The fact Kadra is abundant in Alipsos is also beneficial for us, not just because its magical proprieties, but it is also the reason why civilization as we know it managed to advance to the level it is now. It is almost common knowledge that Kadra is constantly attracting and melting the almost endless supply of ice which forms Olipsos, the outermost ring, and this last creates rain and adequate conditions for sustaining life as we know it.
We have proved this phenomenon by constant observation in the different areas of Alipsos across our voyages. The more Kadra we encounter in these areas, the more life and water we find, and therefore the more lush, vibrant and unpredictable, is the nature we encounter.
