Oxygen Spell-Jar

Stone Lung is a very common condition among miners in both Ullia and Artia. While the condition itself is not curable a few enterprising Artificers have come up with some methods for treatment and prolonging the victims lives. Oxygen Spell-Jars are small device that is used to help prolong the life and relieve the suffering of those who suffer from this condition.

Utility

Oxygen Spell-Jars are used to help alleviate the shortness of breath felt by those suffering from Stone Lung. By opening the bottle and holding it beneath the victim's nose it produces fresh clean oxygen. It was originally discovered by Artificers working on building airships. On the black market you can find some of these jars augmented with other herbs to produce various effects, from poison to feelings of bliss.

Manufacturing

Like all spell-jars, Oxygen Spell-Jars require knowledge and use of a ritual circle and a cut spell-stone.
Access & Availability
This is still a relatively new treatment, it's very expensive to make. The dwarves and the Free State of Ichu trade freely, but the human colonies and Artia are not as willing to fork out the cash to help their forced miners. But as Stone-Lung cannot be healed by magic, it has started a new field of study into healing and has led some to take up the mission of trying to heal the miners and other magically induced sicknesses/injuries. Complexity
Oxygen Spell-Jars are a moderately difficult spell jar to create, they require a spell-stone, glass bottle, fresh water and blue herb.
Discovery
After the Southern Colony split in two following the rebellion there was a boom in magi-tech creation. The Free State of Ichu is home to many Artificers, many of whom have been looking for ways to make spell-stone mining safer for all those involved.
