Dragon School Novice Level 1st Variation Simple strike of fire that hits one target dealing damage. This spell can start fires in non combat. Fire Strike is the first spell of the Dragon School. This simple but effective spell can be used creatively to great effect. Once the glyph is complete, a small ball of fire grows in the center, consuming the glyph in hungry red flames. The fire remains until directed towards a target within sight and up to 60 feet away. Upon making contact with the target, Fire Strike does 1d6 of damage. Talented warriors will often use Fire Strike to coat their fists in flames to increase the damage of their punches. The glyph can also be drawn on a sword to coat the edge in flames and cause fire damage to a target. This glyph is so incredibly quick to draw that it can be used often in combat to wear down enemies or scare off hostile animals. Draugr and other undead are especially wary of fire. Outside of combat, Fire Strike is used as a means to start a fire or generate light.
