The Sea
The sea is the great and endless space between planes. It is the cosmic ooze that shaped into the planes. It is the original home to Thi. It is the barrier between mortals and other planes. And it is impossibly deadly for a mortal to navigate. While it is academically accepted that the sea would be the plane of Andit, there is a colloquial differentiation between the two. The sea is a neutral entity, while Andit is attributed all negative qualities.
Geography
The Sea itself is hard to describe. It is filled with something between athick water and absolute nothing. The planes are always described as swimming through it, and they are easily able to float in place. Since a mortal has never existed in the Sea, it is impossible to faithfully compare it to life on a plane.
History
The prehistory of the Sea is unknown. Knowledge of the Sea and the world begins with the Founders recording history on Rhina, so the rest of the knowledge of the Sea is just myth. Many, especially Arbvae, ponder the beginning of the Sea, but there is no working theory on its creation or what exists beyond it-- if it even has an end.
