Henri Theriot came to Boston to visit his sister, Marie Theriot, after personal and professional events in Paris caused him to chose to leave France and his career in French theater. His thought was to spend time in Boston with Marie while determining what next to do with his life. The series of events that began the night he arrived in Boston would change that plan forever and is detailed in Book 1: Let it Begin Here.

Personal history
Henri successfully joined the Paris Opéra and moved into more and more important roles over his career. Eventually he realized he wasn't going to advance any further on his talent alone. He made the choice to begin having relationships with the men who could get him the best roles. At first, this seemed to be good decision, but it did not help him for very long.
Believing his career to be ruined after a particular incident, he left Paris to visit his sister, Marie Theriot, in Boston. He didn't expect to stay long at Nat. Hill's Coffee & Drink. What began the night he arrived prevented him from ever leaving.
