Requiea

Requiea is an alternate reality gritty high fantasy, set in a pre-industrial time where Earth, guns, modern science, and globalization do not exist.     There are three main continents, a large island chain, and hundreds of smaller islands currently listed in the annals of history located in the largest library in the country Vestus, ruled by the Naymyae empire, the most powerful empire to rule Vestus so far.     Here in Vestus, the rules are dictated by the ones with their hands sunk deepest into the cookie jar. A neighboring land, to the northeast called Harggroth, is ruled in chunks by various governments. There is a king, a couple Jarls, a few senates, a smattering of councils, and a handful of representatives who all claim these chunks in their own rights.     Shifting focus toward Harggroth, this mostly cold but also bountiful land is the setting for a novel, and so is the main focus of this world anvil page. If I find any information necessary or relevant to the novel that pertains to other lands in Requiea, or I just get bored of Harggroth and want to explore a different avenue, there will be extraneous information posted.
