Reliere

100 years ago, the planes were dying. Each race, master of their own plane, was in various states of decline. If nothing changed, war, disease, and famine would wipe them out completely. So the gods, along with several heroes, in a desperate attempt to save their worlds, brought about the Connection, an event that violently combined all of the dying planes into one new one that may yet survive. The Connection was not without its own casualties. Whole cities suddenly found themselves underwater or encased in stone. Kingdoms suddenly found themselves with multiple rulers. Most of all, races and cultures who previously had no knowledge of one another found themselves living side by side in this new world dubbed Reliere. 100 years have passed and recovery has begun but much of this new world is unmapped, unexplored, and unclaimed. Some have grown attached to their new neighbors while some aggressively maintain their isolation. New creatures have also appeared in this new world bringing about a golden age for heroes and adventurers. Will Reliere bring hope to the dying people of the planes or does it simply delay the inevitable?
