The Lodges

The Lodges are the semi-ruling bodies of El-Men Town and a significant power in their own right. Made up primarily of El-Men, the Lodges have kept El-Men Town independent of the megacorporations that control most of the Metropolis Republic and serve as a cultural center and lightning rod for both the El-Men and the great Primal society.

While the lodges are focused in Metropolis Proper, they have influence throughout Metropolis space as well and many lodges have chapters on worlds throughout the Reknown-Galaxy. Several also have very strong ties with some of the Primal peoples in Frontiers, such as the El-Men Stratocracy (commonly known as the Free El-Men Alliance or the FLA), as the El-Men lodges’ cultures are the closest parallel to Primal societies in Metropolis.
