The Kotelek

In the aftermath of the Renge War, many lodges were decimated. The Kotelek was forged out of the remnants of seven lodges who banded together into one of the Neo-Lodges. While respectful of history, the destruction during the Renge War led the Kotelek to believe that the old ways failed them, and that new paths must be discovered or formed. They respect the Council of Lodges but are among the most progressive members of the El-Men.

Kotelek pride themselves on learning the trades of all seven of the merged lodges: defensive tactics, weapon crafting, military strategy, pathfinding, civilian production, martial training, and logistics. While they learn each facet of their society, most Kotelek find their strongest area and focus their efforts in that field. The leading council is made up of one of each of the original lodges who specialize in each skill, the Vezeto being the leader whose skills are most needed at the current time.

The Kotelek’s cross training in skills allows for a fluid transition in combat, and the Kotelek’s warriors all proudly use equipment created by the Lodge. In times of war, the Kotelek fight in self-sufficient units and are often hired as squads to explore new worlds and help establish colonies. Their experience in combat both in Metropolis and across the Galaxy makes their voices one of the most respected at War Councils.
