Utgar the Seeker
Seeker, Chief Markeen, later Utgar Utt (a.k.a. The Great Seeker, The Seeker)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
In his legends and songs, he is described as exceptionally short for an orc; either incidentally or through his partial dwarven parentage, it is unclear. Through his rigorous training, his physical prowess and slim musculature is also described often in tales. His agility and dexterity where advantageous for most of his missions as a Seeker.
Body Features
Utgar was frequently said to have had an "olive complexion" but whether it means tan or green is unclear.
Facial Features
Some stories mention Utgar's "spotty mane and beard", though these came from stories later in his life. There are also accounts of a deep scar across his right eye.
Identifying Characteristics
He was briefly taken into elven custody and forced into slavery in Veriasua. He still bears a brand on his right shoulder.
Apparel & Accessories
In stories where Utgar is serving in formal battle, there are descriptions of his pauldrons and his personally made armored kilt. Artistic depictions of Utgar also have him wearing a [____], or a specialized breast-band for men, on his chest. Others show him without it.
Specialized Equipment
His armored kilt, hand forged himself, is usually told as an example of reclaimed orcish children being able to do the same tasks home-born orcs can do.

Personal history
Utgar the Seeker, born by the name Markeen, was an orcish man born in a surface dwarven settlement. When he was still a child, a band of orcish Seekers brought him to [orcish homeland]. There he was raised and taught the ways of the orcs.
Later in his life, Utgar took on the role of Seeker, the youngest at the time to ever achieve that title. During his time in service, he proved to be a highly effective Seeker; he famously preferred guerrilla tactics opposed to brute force.
Gender Identity
Male.
Sexuality
By most standards, probably gay. Most tales of Utgar that involve him taking partners involved men or individuals whose gender was unspecified in legend.
Education
He was too young to enter any formal apprenticeships in his hometown, but he later received training in [orc homeland].
First trained in basic defensive methods which was required for every orcish/orchen citizen, then military specialized training, and after that Seeker training.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Utgar achieved the status of Seeker at the youngest age ever presidented at the time due to his skill. He later would reach the rank of folk hero among his people as being the most talented Seeker known to orc-kind.
Failures & Embarrassments
There is a tale of Utgar that functions to warn orcs of the cruelty of the outside world (particularly those in Veriasua) and what some are willing to do. During an attempted raid to reclaim orcish children, a group of elven masters slaughter the children before Utgar could reach them; the elves would have preferred them dead than free. Utgar blamed himself for not acting faster and for a moment hesitating because he put a fraction of trust in a non-orcish person.
Mental Trauma
Some stories mention the sleepless nights he endured after witnessing the slaughter of orcish children.
Intellectual Characteristics
Idealistic
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Driven at first simply by his civil duty to help his people however he could, then by his personal passion in his duty as a Seeker, then by his guilt in failing to save a group of orcish children- though all were elements depending on the tale, his primary reasoning changed.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
His skill in one-on-one and group combat is average for an orc and impressive by any other standard. However his true prowess is displayed best in his more subtle combat approaches, shown in his work with guerrilla tactics.
Virtues & Personality perks
As a Seeker, he was determined and when faced with challenge, ruthless. As a chief, he was just and clear. As a father and lover, he was devoted and patient.
Vices & Personality flaws
He blames himself for situations outside of his control.
Social
Family Ties
Though Utgar never had biological children himself, his clan Utt, was largely comprised of children he had brought back to [orcish homeland]. The others of his clan were freed orcish and orchen slaves rescued from Veriasua as well as those who had heard of his accomplishments and wished to follow him.
Religious Views
Like many orcish and orchen people, Utgar believed in the orcish pantheon. But most of all, Utgar was an avid follower of Yavudarr, the god of clans and family.
Social Aptitude
Utgar was known for being extremely confident and straight forward, perhaps too blunt and honest for most outsiders- but still somehow remaining charismatic and charming.
