Structure
The Empire functions on a mixed governmental system, as something of an aristocratic parliamentary system under the oversight of a constitutional monarchy. The Emperor-King or Empress-Queen technically own and lead the empire
The Acredynum is the parliament system; made up of two branches, the {wise branch} and the {family branch}. The {family branch} is made up of representatives of the High Houses. The {wise branch} is made up of any free elves over the age of 750 years of age that wish to enter. The Acredynum heads both broad and highly specific governmental policies that affect the entire empire. However Houses and cadet Houses frequently have a large amount of leeway in interpreting and implementing those policies.
The empire is technically owned by the Emperor-King/Empress-Queen, but rarely do they involve themselves with anything too intricate.

Originally formed by uniting the High Houses of the Veriasuian free realms, the Empire continued to expand as it annexed and conquered the nations of their neighbors.

The approximate breakdown of their population is that of 70 million elves, 19.9 million orcs, 6.2 million dwarves, 3.7 million humans, 200 thousand halflings.
