Regency Sim

You, the player, have come home to the country from finishing school. It is your priority as a young woman of little independent means in the Regency era to get married as soon as possible. Whether you marry for economy or romance is your choice.   This being a fictional story and therefore not a slave to such unimportant things as "historical accuracy" or "heteronormativity", your marriageable options will include more than just the opposite sex of your character. You're a girl, by the bye.   Your romance options include about ten people in your neighborhood, split just about evenly by gender, all with intertwined backstories and a huge variety of archetypes. You are playing a dating sim, so of course that's how it is. Your reputation, whether positive or negative, will unlock certain paths. You cannot, for example, date the rake if your reputation is positive, and you cannot date the snob if your reputation is negative. Most characters will tolerate you no matter what your reputation is, but will not marry you. The only character (at this moment) who would marry you regardless of reputation is the Confidant, your best friend since childhood.
