Lukas Partha
Lukas Partha is one of the leaders of a traveling band that regularly crosses Vemia. He, along with Carmentis Asani and Neelan Sarvi, make general decisions for the route of their group.
Lukas is also considered the guardian of Ariadne Partha, and tries to act as a parental figure towards her.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Lukas is relatively tall and lanky, while still being athletic and well-muscled. He has no chronic diseases or conditions.
Facial Features
Lukas' face is long and fine-boned. His face as a whole is narrow and slim. Lukas' ears are pointed and his eyes have slit-pupils and a double-iris, denoting half-blood heritage.
Identifying Characteristics
Lukas has several feathery scars over his knuckles and hands, and a large tattoo on his right shoulder blade.
Special abilities
Lukas is a teleportation mage. He can create portals to any location or person he has seen before, but usually only within sight or short distances.

Personal history
Lukas never met his mother, a Stray Daemon. He was told that she left Lukas at his father's doorstep and immediately left. His father, Trowe Partha, while accepting of his son, was a bit out of his depth with a new baby, not to mention the half-Daemon heritage hanging over his head. While Trowe did his best with what he had, Lukas always felt a bit out of place in his father's home.
Trowe and Lukas lived alone in the suburbs of Harnsey until Lukas was about 9. Trowe married his partner of three years, Aima Corla, and she moved in with the two of them. While Trowe did his best to make her feel at home, Lukas was very disgruntled by the presence of his new step-mother, and started spending as much time as possible away from his home. Aima in turn, while trying to be kind to her step-son, never felt quite at ease with him around.
It was when Lukas was 12 when riots began to occur in various suburbs of Vemia, specifically in the towns of Harnsey and Cardine. Ariadne Partha, Lukas' cousin, barely escaped alive, while her parents had perished in Cardine. Lukas began to care for his cousin as a parental figure, and Ariadne, who was 5 at the time, regarded him as such. This also helped repair the relationship between Aima and Lukas somewhat, although they never truly became close.
When Lukas was 15, he and Ariadne had been taking a day at home when another upheaval began in their area. When it began to get violent around their home, Lukas grabbed Ariadne and ran, taking Trowe's car and fleeing the area. The pair managed to make it to Riset by the end of the day, and stopped there.
In the aftermath of the Harnsey riots, injuries and deaths were announced. Lukas hesitantly returned to the house, but neither Trowe nor Aima ever showed up or contacted him. After a day of gathering supplies and valuables from the house, he returned to Riset with Ariadne in tow, and they settled there for the foreseeable future.
For the next three years or so, Lukas and Ariadne stayed put in Riset. Lukas originally tried joining the army regiment located in Riset, but enduring terrible treatment and blackmail over quitting, he broke rank and deserted the standing army with a fellow soldier, Neelan Sarvi. They formed a small group, and managed to somehow survive within the corrupt military government within the city.

Lukas headed a small group in Riset that compounded funds from odd jobs and general cut-purse work. After he joined Carmentis' party, he helped strategize routes across Vemia, and works as a leader within that group.

Lukas never finished secondary education, and has been ridiculed openly for it. He also was never able to find a steady job, in Riset or otherwise.

Lukas tends to travel with his group in more undeveloped country, but even though there isn't much in the way of conventional hygiene in the Outskirts, he keeps himself fairly clean.
Relationships
History
Lukas and Azariah met during her time in Riset. They met soon after Azariah arrived in Riset and Lukas offered for her to live with him, Neelan, Ariadne, and Miradia. She accepted, and as they got to know each other they quickly fell in love.

Lukas and most of his party are fairly poor. He can afford necessary supplies and clothing, but not too much else.
