Duotica

Duotica is the name given to the power to be in two or more places at once.
Not to be confused with astral projection, duotica is when an individual creates a double of them-self that shares/has its own mind, this allows for someone to do two things at the same time at two different places in the universe.

Effect

Creates a double of the caster

Side/Secondary Effects

If the spell is not cast correctly then the caster will be stuck within the double created by the spell and unable to return to their original body. A way to avoid this risk is to create "halve doubles" where the caster instead creates a ghost of themselves that is only able to observe.

Manifestation

The air around the caster and the double is often significantly colder for a short time after the spell is cast, this can be said to create snow if the spell is cast in the rain.

Source

The source of this power is most often from the casters own psionic prowess, however it can be granted by items and a higher being.

Discovery

The earliest surviving (as of present date) documentation of the power is of Zencyre summoning himself in-front of a skeptical audience on a planet. He stood before the crowd and demanded they bow before a god, they refused, believing him to just be a lunatic, and so he summoned a copy of himself out of thin air. Bellowing in unison the two Zencyre told the audience again, this time however they obliged and bowed before their god.
