Lieuntenant Stijn
Stijn is a 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Netherlands Navy. Hot headed and often finds himself in trouble for being unable to conrol his temper.
HMS Rover
Part of his military education Stijn did at the Royal Navy in Great Britain where he served on the HMS Rover. And was onboard when that ship got caught in a Mælström trying to follow the Narwhal around it. Unbeknowst to Stijn this was his first encounter with Rose and her Pirate crew.
Victory Ball
Stijn served with the Dutch Navy during the ABC War. And was promoted to 2nd Lieutennant during it. Afterwards he joined the festivities in Fort Oranje in Oranjestad, St. Eustatius.
During the party him and his mates drunk to much and got into a heated argument that the pirates of the Sunset Dawn should not be there, and really shouldn't have gotten a medal either. He looses his temper and challenges Rose to a sabre fight, which Rose, with some luck, manages to win. And in his anger Stijn punches a senior officer, ending his career afloat.
Revenge
Stijn now working an office job, manages to pass information about where abouts of the Sunset Dawn to the Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela. With this invomation they manage to bomb and sink the pirate ship.
I am not in the military but I do know that you really shouldn't punch senior officers. Silly Stijn. He should get some anger management training and stop focusing on revenge, probably. :)
