El Patético has multiple branches, most of them unknowing of the other, some of them not even knowing they are part of El Patético and they are a criminal organization.

Culture

If you do your job well, you will get payed, asking questions about things you do not need to know about is frowned upon. Nobody really knows who is the End Boss everybody appears to be having somebody above them. Usually people only know a hand full of people of the branch they are involved with, (besides the supposedly good businesses)

Public Agenda

It's in El Patético's interest to stay out of the public eye. Therefore only their 'public' branches have an public agenda that is catered to please the public.

Assets

Plantations to grow the plants required for the raw materials required for the production of drugs.

Factories to produce above mentioned drugs. But El Patético has also spread its fingers into factories that produce equipment required to produce drugs. This is so that they stay off the radar while acquiring such equipment, and they make a small profit out of the public sale of those.

A fleet of cars, trucks, train wagons, ships in all sizes to transport their wares.

El Patético owns a bank, to launder their money, to move their companies money through. The bank is one of their main pillars.

And maybe most important they have a big group of people on their payroll; accountants, notaries, custom employees, harbour masters, stewadors, marshalling yard operators, police officers, politicians and bankers.

It is believed that El Patético also has their own private army in the from of a group of mercenaries.

History

Nobody knows exactly when El Patético started. But some say it has its roots in the Middle Ages already as a smuggling syndicate. Growing over time, annexing other companies into their cartel depending on the interest they had that age or their needs.
