Red Britannia

In an alternative 20th century, Great Britain has fallen, and has been under Soviet control for four years. Ever since the Berlin Airlift of 1948 went awry, the USSR had an excuse for war, but with the sudden developement of the hydrogen bomb, they dared not attack the United States via conventional means. However, in an unexpected turn of fate, after a plane carrying Bernard Montgomery, Winston Churchill and Princess Elizabeth of all people went missing in 1951, the Soviets saw a weakness to exploit; a major Western power that was ripe for seeding of the Marxist-Leninist Doctrine. Within weeks, Soviet tanks rolled up the Mall, and Great Britain as it had been known was no more, having fallen to the panic in the absence of leadership which led to occupation and effective destruction of the monarchy. Now 1955, the governance of England and Wales, now the SSRGB (Soviet Socialist Republic of Great Britain) is being decided under her new masters. Ireland has yet to fall, and Scotland has yet to be fully subdued, whilst Snowdonia has been occupied by the United States, representing one of their last bastions of military power within Europe. The fate of a country now hangs in the balance as the world crosses into a new age of nuclear energy, technological advancement and political strife.   But how will you act?
