The Swamps of Norka

The Swamps of Norka are a dangerous place. Only fabled heroes have been known to set one toe there. It is full of giant Tokrek, and countless other dangerous creatures. However, it is said that Ircin The Giant lives there, and if you pass the tests that the Swamp and Ircin present, you will earn a trophy the likes of which have never been seen.

Geography

This Swamp is in the pits of the Chandwell Mountains, in a bowl. In the center of the swamp is a lake, at the middle of which strange anomalies are fabled to have occurred.

Fauna & Flora

The Tokrek inhabit the west side of the Swamp. On the east side are the Lanuurs, but they usually are passive unless provoked, with the exception of Tokrek. If they see a Tokrek, they will rally and attack at once. This dynamic of fighting between the two species causes much trouble for unwitting travelers.

Natural Resources

Wood from the nearby trees, water from the lake, and Atril Ore from a bomb explosion during the great war that busted a hole into the earth.
