Halfling (Solaran)
Halflings on Solara are practically feral in most instances. They live a nomadic nature in the rolling hills and deep thickets in northwestern area of the land, southwest from the Draconesht region known as The Warrens.
In many ways, they are very similar to the Ghostwise haflings of Toril.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The halfling dialect among Solaran halflings is barely intelligible to most Toril-born Halflings. They speak in quick, often monosyllabic phrases whether in Halfling or in Common. To many outside of the clans, this comes off as being less-intelligent, but in their mind, they're simply wasting no time on words, getting to the point as quickly as possible.
Culture and cultural heritage
Most clans adopt a policy of always staying out of harm's way. They are passive opportunists; they don't actively raid or plunder nearby people and do a good job of staying completely out-of-sight. They never bother to do anything that seems like a waste of time and instead quietly take what they want when they can or desire to do so.
Common Dress code
The various nomadic clans identify themselves by the pelts marking their group. Foxlegs wear leggings made of skins made from the deep red fox of The Warrens; Harebacks wear short cloaks pieced together of the tans and grays of fleet-footed rabbits, and Squirrelcaps the brown tails of the indigenous squirrel, braided into a strange turban-like head-covering.
