Tiefling
Since the demon wars, when the tieflings were initially persecuted for their diabolical lineage, centuries had passed. Despite the fact that tieflings are still shrouded in mystery, most people in Thoma grew up with them, and the tides of conflict have carried tiefling soldiers, merchants, and entertainers to even the most remote parts of the land. Only overzealously dedicated paladins and people raised on dark legends from a bygone era would openly wish harm on tieflings. Tieflings have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes and a tail. Long ago they were cursed by the demon mother Seknus, for reasons that are unknown today. Tieflings subsist in small minorities found mostly in human cities or towns, often in the roughest quarters of those places, where they grow up to be swindlers, thieves, or crime lords. Sometimes they live among other minority populations in enclaves where they are treated with more respect.
