To Know the Wise from the Fool

The Immortals of the Silver Lands are infatuated with knowing wisdom. To that end they have produced many sayings which separate wise counsel from foolish babble.

The Immortals highly prize the art in conversation, where each share words that enlighten perspective. Most are quick to recognize those who speak much yet have little to say. This is one reason the Immortals tend to avoid the Shallow Peoples.

Immortals do tend to watch a man's words more than his actions, but the consequences of choice are not entirely lost on them. Especially those choices which wither the heart and slay the soul. Seductresses are among the most hated for the way they steal the strength of men.

Geographical Distribution

These sayings originated with the Immortals, but trade with many nations has brought some even to the far corners. Even nations in which prostitutes thrive will still quote the warnings about seductresses, though mostly to gain laughs at parties.
