Personal history

Mr. Proudbottom graduated from the College of the Golden Harpers before making his way through the Hinterlands to make a name for himself. Mr. Proudbottom established the Proud Carnival in the city of Rutgar. At first the carnival made Proudbottom a wealthy performer and his name spread even farther into the Hinterlands. Missives came from nobles and aristocrats requesting his carnival come visit their abodes.
During his travels Mr. Proudbottom hired another performer End of Grace, a human male who used light and illusions during his performances. The partnership went well, but started to sour as more and more individuals were more interested in End of grace instead of Mr. Proudbottom. Infuriated with the current relationship Mr. Proudbottom started to turn towards darker and more foul means of enhancing his performances.
His studies turned him towards the Demon Prince of Pleasure Graz'zt. A deal was established between Graz'zt and Mr. Proudbottom to enhance his abilities. Even with that power End of Grace still out performed Mr. Proud bottom at every turn it seemed. Angered by this turn of events Proudbottom contact Graz'zt again. This time, for his soul, Graz'zt granted the knowledge of how to absorb the talents of an individual.
With this new knowledge Mr. Proudbottom and End of grace went to a secluded area to "rest". That night Proudbottom murdered End of Grace and conducted the dark ritual to absorb his talent. The ritual was successful but had a secret consequence. Proudbottom became addicted to killing. Now Proudbottom has become a prolific serial killer, who uses the dark rituals granted to him to keep his talents at their peak.
