The rich utilized the working class to mine the mineral under dangerous conditions. Years of strife and unhappiness created the bloodiest conflict in recent history. No matter what anyone tells you the Arcetian Civil War will forever change not only Safel but Aerdran as a whole."

The Conflict

Prelude

During the rule of the Britisson bloodline the mines were contracted out to the Kingdom allowing them the access to all the minerals and determining the distribution of all that was collected. In turn, the Britisson's sold the rights to the adamantine portion of the highest bidder. This fact was hidden for awhile till the grapevine eventually reached the working class.

Deployment

As the working class became more restless the Britisson's and their supporters were determining what the next step would be to controlling the masses. During that meeting the advisor to the King, whose name has been stricken from all records, took his moment to strike and slew the King during that audience and escaped. That moment is credited with being the kickoff to the Arcetian Civil War.
The war raged for a few years due to the Arcetian Rebellion didn't have enough resources to sustain constant fighting. It wasn't until Iranthel, the captain of the Royal Family Guard, joined the side of the Arcetian Rebellion that turned the tides of battle.

Battlefield

All of Arcet was the battlefield, but most conflict was concentrated inland towards the capital and other cities of political interest.

Outcome

With the fall of the royal family the Raven King was able to start his invasion across the rest of Safel.
