Year 400 in the Age of Men

Since the gods were forcefully banned from Ravelayr by The Veil, the land has fallen into chaos. Vast landscapes of wilderness have taken over where once cities stood. Where magic was once a common power, it is now rarely found as The Veil limits its potential. This restriction of magic has made the few people who have mastered magic all the more powerful. Kingdoms have risen, empires have fallen, intrigue and betrayal within and between organisations have shaped the world as it now is. In the center of this world lies Taryu, a city-state inhabited by all of the races of the world. Surrounding Taryu are nations of Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings, Orcs, Goblins, etc. These nations are often at war with each other, while Taryu has been at peace since The Twelve laid the first stone of the city.
