Clan Blackforge

Introduction

Dating back before the founding of Graystone, the Blackforge Clan used to be great and well known for their skill as smiths and stonemasons that shaped blackstone for use in armor and tools.

But with time comes age and with every new generation there comes accomplishments and failures, and dark times came when Ghundrid Blackforge sold his family out for whispered promises of fortune and power. For the next several hundred years, the remaining dwarves of the clan toiled away at the mines in Graystone to pay off a debt left by the traitor.

History

The earliest record of the Blackforge Family dates back to 679 CU, this date was found on a record of sale for a mass order of manacles and metal crooks.

When the clan was mentioned next it was during the years 688 - 689 CU when an ancestor, Ghudrid Blackforge sold much of the clan's assets and people into slavery for fortune and power in the eyes of the Slaver's Guild. During this time much of the clan's history has been destroyed and tossed across the land of Haven.
