Xamarri

A sad moon, Xamarri has been desolated over time. Scholars who have looked over the realm cannot find anything of value on such a planet. But having spoken to the dragons that inhabit Draconux, they know the truth of what occurred here.
Deep in the past, The illithid used this moon as a staging ground, sending out many spelljammers to the inner solar system. In part with a great war between the Githyanki, the mind flayers were largely subjugated. But they left a disaster in their wake. Xamarri is the refuse of their presence.
The dragons of Draconux, who visited this planet long before the present time, know that this planet was filled with Halflings, Changelings, Kalashtar, Aasimar, and other humanoids. All these races were enslaved by the Illithid horrors, and formed into other mind flayers over time. Only through the wars enlisted by the Githyanki were these people liberated.
The consequence was that the world was the definition of a scorched earth. Red dragons melted the landscape and any habitable life that could have remained, just to make sure any mind flayers left had nothing to survive upon. All mortal life was destroyed to make sure mind flayers on the moon had no more cattle to ranch. Although the Githyanki were judged for their indiscriminate conduct, they cared little, for as they said, the threats they fought had been removed. In the present day, nothing remains upon Xamarri but a charred, barren landscape, the atmosphere wrecked with carbon monoxide and dioxide, uninhabitable by even the most dedicated weed.
