The Nation of Industry

Athon is a very industrialized nation. It’s known for its steampunk appearance and technology. They came to power through their advanced technology and industrialized weapons, which appear very mysterious to outsiders. Athon is known to have a very severe hatred for magic, although they are religious and do look up to the gods. Their hatred stems towards Teria, a nation known for its use of magic, although they have never declared war due to the alliance between Teria and Smeola. Citizens here use gold as their currency, purchasing all sorts of items with coins and bars. Items in Athon are known to quite expensive due to their advancement and uniqueness. Rumor has it that inside the central clocktower of Athon resides the heart of a giant, kept functioning by their superior technology. This heart is said to be the source of Athon’s power, keeping everything running like clockwork. If this heart were to be removed from the clocktower the nation would lose its power, suffering a serious blackout. Due to this the tower is heavily guarded at all times, only giving the rumors more power and certainty.
