Brelmite

Basic Information
Brelmite are bipedal and omnivorous. Brelmite skin comes in a variety of colors, ranging from greens to blues to reds. Brelmite born in the south tend to have darker and more jewel-toned skin, while Brelmite from the north are softer pastel shades. One may also see Brelmite in shades of peach, brown, and beige, due to interbreeding with other races. Very rarely, Brelmite are borne with pure white or pure black skin- these are incredibly rare cases. Brelmite hair and eye color comes in just as many colors as their skin does.Civilization & Culture
Brelmite do not have any major cultural expectations that differ between genders. A Brelmite is expected to leave their enclave at the age of 20, and find their place in the world, spreading their knowledge and bringing fame to their enclave. If they don't find a place where they feel they can do so, then they must return with new information and invention ideas, otherwise they will be refused entry.
Lifespan
Merlben achieve sexual maturity around 20 years of age, and can live up to 100 years or more.
Average Height
Most Merlben are in the range of 5'9" to 6'8", with no notable height differences between biological males and biological females.
Merlben Names Given names tend to be short and sweet, with sounds as harsh as the machinery and sciences they work with, and have no gender restrictions.
ex. Kizt, Cleng, Bip, Ryvit, Geer All Merlben take on the surname of their enclave, as a means of easily identifying where a Merlben comes from, and where their fame is directed. If an enclave falls into disrepute, this can effect all of the Merlben from it, even if they are living far away from it. If a Merlben is exiled from their enclave, they are expected to choose a new surname.
