Word Magic

Word Magic is considered a great mystery of wonders and terrors, especially since the Coven War . There's not a lot of any concrete information about this particular type of word or why it is tied to particular Impulses, because the 9th Archjustice was especially paranoid about being killed by it and probably enforced the literature ban for silencing anyone who could practise it or disagree with him or the nobles.
But all is not lost, for we have found some books that escaped the burnings that tell of the Impulse needed. Here's a quick list: .Calm, for peace makers .Daring, for messengers Feeling or Emotional, flickering like fireflies and just as varying Forceful for soldiers Focus for scholars Grit, for survivors Hope , attuned to optimists Reason, for healers Renown , varying in what it favours Scheme for spies Style for artists Trust for only those you truly value Treason, the forbidden impulse It is also believed that the first Reader and Voice attempted to attune some of the Impulse types towards the Eight scribes, though it is assumed that every Reader in a Triumvirate can learn Word Magic, along with the literate and educated. The Church of the Scribes is divided upon it, though some ancient records state it was created and than forgotten about during the Empire's existence, but it is assumed by the Highwing Remnants to be a false illusion though not suppressed.

Manifestation

Varying depending upon the Impulse, unlike Scribe magic. All of it is word based

Localization

Places where books were burnt or censorship was rife can create a dead zone where Word magic ceases to function.
