The Kyadii of Frostplain carve through the The Forest of Doon, it was believed, to attack Bezélan.   The account of this is being told in Skirmishes and Schisms:

Insensed at the supposed capture of one of the Kyadii of the Deenfeiss Leen clan, an armed force made directly to the Capital with the aim of finding and extracting their brother.   This attempt ultimately failed, with the chief escaping but his second-in-command falling as a result of chaos between the forces of Bezélan and Foyii / Woodsmen.
