Soul´s Dale
Where souls rest.
Creation
Wherever blood roses spread, there shall be ever green.
Where souls rest and time is meaningless. This valley, also known as "Mother´s Garden", is the eternal plane of Alena, Mother Life. It is a mystical place hidden deep in the Caszryl (the woods beyond death) overgrown by blood roses, ivy and cherry trees. Some say Mother Life herself planted those cherry trees trying to stop the blood roses from growing. Unfortunately it was to late and so the blood roses spread over entire Caszryl to the sphere of beings.
First frustrated by her failure Alena tried to burn down everything in her plane. After a minute she knelt down in the middle of the garden, troubling to breathe. Scared and harmed by the blood roses´ dorns Alena raised a small wooden stick channeling her power trying to bleed white the roses. Only those in her garden would die but the Godmother did not give up. While the blood roses essence flowed into the cherry blossoms to strengthen their color, Mother Life took a bit ash to create a plant what would spread everywhere no matter which plane. To breathe life into the plants she created a pond where she knelt. This pond strengthened wide spreading plants and gave them their bright green color. Though Ivy was born to contain blood rosespower.
Origin
Not only souls are resting in Mother´s Garden but also Soul itself.
Once there was a spirit who wandered through the woods. Restless he faded beyond death. Lost he searched life in every sphere but never really found what he craved for. One day the spirit came across an old barred owl. Curious the spirit asked what magnificent creature it was. Confused trough admiration and surprised by the spirits inquisitiveness he answered, he was an prince of cheerlessness summoned by Mother Life herself for guarding those woods from ragged spirits who would try to desecrate it. More curious than before and apparently unimpressed by owls attitude the spirit asked who Mother Life was.
Is screamed the owl and was not only infuriated but also staggered by the illiteracy of the spirit. The owl was even more confused. Essentially every spirit knew Mother Life because of her antipathy and how she would hunt them. And more essentially how much the spirit would hiss while listening to her name. This spirit did not. It stayed calm and repeated its question.
The owl told him, that Mother Life was the warden of all living beings. That she would guide the hopeless. Fascinated by the owl´s story the spirit asked if it could visit Mother Life. Forius the owl wanted to yell but was interrupted by an calm voice. It sounded like a breath of wind. When the owl heard the voice he immediately bowed his head. By Mother Life´s countenance the spirit astonished. It was not the beauty of her appearance but rather her charisma. For the first time in his existence the spirit felt Warmth and security. Enchanted by her grace it kneeled down. Both Mother Life and the barred owl were stunnend by the spirits behavior. For the first time in Mother Life´s existence a spirit kneeled before her. She asked the creature who it was and what its purpose. The spirit negated both questions because simply it could not answer them. Neither had it a name nor a reason to be. That it was damned to exist unmotivated.
A restless spirit who was not cheerful of its subsistence? Mother Life was amazed by the spirit´s answer. Clueless she pondered how she should treat it.
Normally her heart was filled with rage when ever she came across of one them. But now. Mother Life felt pity for the lucid creature. To the surprise of the owl she invited the spirit to join and serve for her. Feeling blessed the spirit agreed.
Time went by and the spirit was happy to stay in Mother Life´s eternal sphere. Even the old grumpy barred owl seemed to start liking its company. Many nights their sat on a branch talking about life and death. But one night evil spirits and other followers of the darkness sieged the sphere. The spirit helped to fight them back by paying an huge price. So it lied in Mother Life´s arms, fading away to death. Mother Life was shocked and frustrated. She did not wanted its death to be without purpose. With her craceful power she absorbed its essence and formed it to an silver shining flower. Tenderhearted she smiled at the spirit and called him by his true name: Soul.
