Eadwig Leverick the IV
Early Life
Eadwig Leverick the IV was born to a small noble family in an unnamed hamlet within the northeast High Plains. His family had ruled over the serfs there for nearly a century and his fate was to follow in the footsteps of his fathers before. Eadwig, however, was not content with carrying on the life of a lord. At the young age of fifteen, he left home in search of adventure. His family was quick to disown him, calling him foolish and ungrateful for abandoning the life that had already been made out to him. Venturing to Matre, the capital, he began studying alongside the Brothers and Sisters of the faith. Despite his teachings, Leverick never fully joined the Andryte faith. He had simply made use of his money, time, and intellect to gain as much information as possible before assembling a scouting party and heading northward at the age of twenty.Achievements
Leverick is often credited with the discovery of the crystal-iron alloy known as Leverite but, in his time, he has made many more discoveries that have changed the fate of the High Plain time and time again. Leverick had found that Ealdé's mass had lowered enough to allow one to explore it as it was previously far too high up and steep to climb or traverse. Leverick would go on to become scout captain of the Andryte forces, making him one of the only people in history to be included within the military despite not accepting the faith.Controversies
Those who travel with Leverick have said that he is rather arrogant, rude, and condescending. With a habit for destruction, he seemingly has no care for people other than himself and his exhibition. Even then, his exhibitions are seldom treated well. Leverick also took credit for Leverite despite only discovering the crystals that would allow for the creation of the alloy. Even now, blacksmiths that make Leverite curse his name as they pound away at their anvils.
