The Errant Moon

The errant moon is said to have not always been in the sky, the mansheer claim that the golden object once housed their goddess before she descended to under the sands.
Ancient tales say that once there was only the Eyes of Viratas in the sky and that they skys always had one of the eyes of the god watching the world, his brightness made the nights lighter then they are now, but then a golden moon appeared in the sky one night having taken the place of the eye, it was glories and soon the mansheer can to the surface claiming to be children of the new golden moon.

History

In the old tales of the masher it is said that long ago the goddess was alone in a great darkness, she had nothing to do each day but watch over her sleeping children, they would not wake till the day they saw the rise of the light of a sun. The goddress did not know when that day would come, but one day it did, the sands stretched out under her and she could finally wake her sleep children, she let the children out onto the sand and though some got hurt most enjoined it a lot. Soon she was alone again, but now there was nothing,for her to do any more and seeing her children have fun down below she decided to descend. She know she would no longer be be able to see all her children but at lest she would be around them.
