Lower Valgurism
Lower Valgurism, usually referred simply as Valgurism, is a broad term for describing specific traditions in the Valgurian churches in theology and doctrine, liturgy, ethics and spirituality. Lower Valgurism recognises Zephne as being another face of the Goddess of Creation. Zephne is basically a mirrored image of the Goddess according to this branch’s followers.
Mythology & Lore
The main doctrine of the lower valgurians, or just valgurians as they call themselves, is so that for everything that she is able to create, she must also be able to destroy. It is a cycle of creation and recreation. Life generates death, light generates darkness, good generates evil. The perfect balance. Valgurians believe the Goddess represents all of these concepts unbiasedly. She is the creation and the destruction, the good and the bad, the beginning and the end.
Divine Origins
The term “lower” was come up by the orthodoxy to distinguish themselves from the younger branch, such that has come from below, from the southern peoples of the Centro. Though, it is also said that the true intent is of a way to identify the branch as a lesser, non-canon, interpretation of the faith. Despite being the ideology with the most adherents worldwide. Lower valgurians do not usually include the term “lower” in any of their denominations, nor do most people, including even some high valgurians, apart from the more fervent followers, who do prefer to include the “high” in theirs, as some sort of pride for being the oldest version and allegedly correct doctrine.
