Post Apocalyptic Humanity

This is an episodic series inspired by the likes of Star wars, 9, Doctor Who, and many others. In the series we accompany an ambiguous protagonist who is accidentally sent on a rescue mission. A distress call is sent from a make-shift coms system, a planet is run dry of its resources, Humanity Divided.   What happens when an advanced human race with little trust becomes space fairing? Machines take over the planet, humans spread out, trust is a scarce and valued resource. Who do you trust? What do you trust? In a Galaxy with living machine planets, and little cooperation between humans nothing is safe, and no-one is trustworthy.   Notes: This will be a apocalyptic series featuring humans, robots, cooperation, and very little trust. The main premise is humans left earth and spread into factions divided by a lack of trust, in the mean time machines on earth and other colonized worlds gain sentience and gain a hatred for the intolerant humans. The machines become a faction of their own and mess with the humans for the most part, toying with their vulnerable prey. Until the humans realist the machines have gained sentience. A war breaks out and this causes humans to fear the machines to the point of exiling them and attempting to nuke their quartered planet. The result: very angry robots with a burning hatred for intolerant, cowering humans.
