This is a setting for role playing in the grim darkens of the 42nd milenium. Port Mournful is an imperial void station located in the Macharian sector, Segmentum Pacificus. For centuries, the port has stood as the beacon of Imperial achievemnent and determination, overseeing an intersection of important trade routes, protecting rich mineral deposits and guarding a vital frontier of the Imperium of Man. Though officially under control of the Imperial Navy, the port is far from tightly organised. Duty rarely comes before personal status and wealth for many Imperial officials and for some, and as palms are greased and empty promises made, corruption slowly spreads and order loosens. And as upper echelons of Imperial society fight and bicker for more power, many find there is a fortune to be made. That’s where you come in. Forge your own way to profit in Port Wander.
